Travel and Carriages

Modern readers tend to take for granted how easy it is for us to get from point A to point B, but it was a lot more involved than we think. So, here's all the information I've gathered pertaining to all things travel in the 1800s.

In August 2019, I visited the National Trust Carriage Museum in Arlington, Devon. The majority of information presented here comes from that museum. I took tons of notes and photos, interrogated the staff there, and dug through all the information from the guidebook. If you're a carriage geek and in the UK, you really need to go there.
